Every Monday to Friday at 19.30 hrs Damini,the central character is an young lady, born and brought up on the lap of nature, was leading a peaceful life with her poor father and mother, but since her childhood, she had shown interest to play with risks. She had been revolting to the injustice and oppression mentally though not physically. This attitude took her to task, the day when the young lady became the witness to a crime done by 'Sura Saanta',the most powerful man of the village, who had tremendous political as well as muscle power. Kokila, an innocent young girl was being raped by Son of Sura Saanta and to keep her mum regarding the incident, they utilized the political as well as muscle power. Due to physical attack, Kokila became mum and could not speak further. After Kokila became dumb, they put target on next witness Damini.But; young mind did not surrender to the situation and rather took oath to fight for justice. The fight for justice is shown on OTV from Monday to Friday every week, which has become the most popular serial of the state.
